On September 21st, 2012, Cockroach Theatre invites the public to celebrate the grand opening of their new space, the Art Square Theatre, with the world premiere production of Nurture by Johnna Adams.

Nurture is a dark comedy about two horrible single parents, who are drawn together by their equally horrible children, and their attempt to form a modern nuclear family.

This production fulfills the promise of the Sin City New Play contest, which now finds a home with Cockroach Theatre. The contest, in its first year, is presented in partnership with Los Angeles-based Original Works Publishing (www.originalworksonline.com), who will publish this play along with the exclusive, world premiere presentation at the Art Square Theatre.
